I went to the showcase on Tuesday night and enjoyed their music.  Curious what your thoughts are and would love to hear from other people that have booked them in the past or are using them for weddings this summer.

    Thanks!

They were amazing for our wedding.  Here's my verdict:

We went to their demo night on 44th st a few months ago, and we were pretty impressed then, but especially at the price.  We did a LOT of research with our band, and musically they were in our top 3 bands in NY, but they were less than half the price of our other top band.  Strangely, they were one of the only bands that seemed like actual professional musicians.  We wanted a true, professional band, and we could see there was no problem there.

As it turns out, they were really good to deal with too - but again for the price, we almost expected something to go wrong, especially since they aren't really the best salesmen!  Is that rude?  Really nice guys, incredible musicians, but maybe a bit too modest or something. But that is the only bad thing I can say - other than that they were better than perfect.

I think its because they totally run their own operation, whereas all the other bands we saw were through big entertainment companies.  At least with the silver arrows we were negotiating directly with the band.  I think they are pretty busy too, so I guess they didn't try that hard to win us over - you get the feeling that they are more about the music, and filling the dance floor etc.

As I said sales tactics were not as slick as the other groups, but they were REALLY good at getting back to all my questions, and most importantly, they really delivered on the day, which is more than I can say for some of the other contractors.

It was non-stop dancing all night, and the band totally made our night.  I'd definitely recommend them with confidence, and all my friends keep asking me for their details.
