Thanksgiving Marathons?

Not the running kind. The sit-in-front-of-the-tv-for-20-hours kind.

Thanksgiving is really low key in my house and since we don't watch football, I am looking for recommendations of tv shows to watch marathons of. So if there are any new shows I should be watching, let me know so I can look out for them in the tv guide or tell me what your favorite older tv show is so I can get myself over to Blockbuster tonight to pick up some old seasons.

    I'm morbid.  I'm looking to the Deadly Women marathon on Discovery ID and I'm always up for a Snapped marathon. heh.

    What is Snapped about/what channel is it on? I have never heard of it.

    Snapped airs on Oxygen.  It profiles women who snap on their husbands, lovers and friends!  It's crime stuff.  Really intriguing stuff.

    I am sure you can catch a Law and Order marathon.  They are on pretty much all the time!

    The only Real Housewives I could ever get into was New Jersey (probably because I grew up on Long Island).

    Of the other ones, any preferences for the best?

    If you are looking for shows to watch on DVD, I highly recommend Arrested Development (which you have to watch from the beginning and can't skip episodes or you'll miss a ton of jokes).  The Wire is also great, especially the first season.

    I also don't know when you grew up, but I love watching marathons of Saved By the Bell or Boy Meets World.  And apparently Blossom is out on DVD now - I have it up next on my Netflix, haha.

    ETA: Freaks and Geeks is also totally worth watching on DVD - so many people got their start on that show (James Franco, Seth Rogan, Jason Segal)

    Im going to either watch House or Avatar: the last air bender.  Not sure yet.  I might DVR both and the alternate, effectively skipping commercials.
