[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Im a bad person : here's an idea.....get the hell out of the left lane. people like you piss me the hell off. if you want to drive slow do it in the center or right lane, not the fast lane. 10% over means that you'll do like 60 in a 55. way too slow for the left lane. so get the hell out of the way and people won't have to ride your ass. they're not the asshole, you are.

Dammit, I left for a bit and missed this again. Psichick, wtf is your deal? And if you want to get technical, the left lane is for passing only, so NO ONE should be riding in it. But I'm sure driving regulations were the topic of your less than 200-page thesis, so it's pointless to argue with you.

And you've got to be the first person on here to call sun of all people an asshole. This was like the first semi-aggressive post I've ever seen her make, and had nothing to do with you. You should just go away and lurk for awhile. And don't come back until you've either learned some manners or enough about people on here to talk to them this way.

  • I'm sad I missed the part about her knowing everything about master's theses last night. I'm handing in a normal paper for a regular old master's class on Friday that's as long as her thesis (30 pages). And I have another 20 pager to hand in this week too. So yeah, 50 pages for 1 semester's worth of work. My advisor might laugh if I handed in a 30 page thesis.

Night, she pissed me off a couple days ago in J&K's job hunt thread. She came in all, "you're looking for a job in psych with just a BA? You're going to have a VERY hard time. How about going back to school?" It's almost verbatim what she said. It was a) not helpful or true, b) rude, and c) showed no indication that she knows wtf or who the fuuck she is talking about, since she clearly doesn't know of the situation.

  • I didn't read that thread.  You know, we're pretty to abrasive and blunt people around here (like me), but she is on a whole special level of asshole.

  • Im pretty much going to remember her name for next time though she seems like the type of person not to post twice in a thread so lot of good that will do grilling her for being an a-hole.
  • asshole we can type, Nebb, just not asss

  • I know what you're saying night. People on here are blunt and abrasive. But I usually see it when someone is being a beebee or immature or rude, or asks for etiquette advice and then complains when people don't agree with them. But if someone is legitimately struggling with something where there's no right answer and they just need to talk (like long-paper writing or not being able to find a job), it's an assholish thing to say what she has said. It's like, hi, you're stupid, I "know" something you don't know, and I'm telling you so that you realize how right I am, even though I'm not.

Damn I'm grumpy tonight. I think she bugs me so much because she clearly is getting a graduate degree and therefore thinks she is smarter than people around here, and is a bitch about it. There are so many ladies here, both in and not in her position, who exhibit much more grace than this.

  • Sometimes I like saying a-hole. It has a special ring to it.

Nebb, that seems to be true, but I'm guessing she still reads the threads. Maybe she realizes she can't back her shiit up.

  • OMG, Beatles.  So cute.  I just really looked at that picture.  What is he facepalming about?

  • Haha, thanks. He was actually really shy about taking pictures. And because he and his brother were so cute, people paid a lot of attention to them. We were trying to get them to smile for the picture, so everyone was making fools of themselves behind the photographer. You can kind of see it in this picture... everyone was sticking their tongues out and making funny faces:

That's probably the real reason for the facepalm, was us acting a fool. ;)
