BM shoes

I know that if you want the BMs to wear a specific shoe, you are supposed to buy them. I want them all to wear a pair of silver/grey shoes (whatever style they want). Is that an abstract enough request that I should be paying for them? I just mentioned it to a BM and she acted like that was going to be hard to find. I thought it was a pretty neutral/common color. I'd even help them find a pair if they want, but I mean google it and a million things come up. I wanted to give them an easy color to wear that might even already have. I really don't have the money to buy all of their shoes!

have you looked at doing payless? I know the ones by us have a wedding shoe, you choose your color you want and there are lots of different formal shoes to choose from and they get them in your color and style.

This is what I am doing because it is less expensive and they can decide to do whatever style they want, but in the color I want.

Don't pay for them since you didn't dictate a specific style.  Your girls can go by a pair of Manolos or go to Payless and get shoes.  I told my girls to wear white shoes, and while one went to a trendy mall store, another just went to Famous Footwear and got shoes for $20.

Ha! I was just making a list of links! I know I'm stressing so I don't want to take it out on my friends, but it's so annoying when I have all these huge wedding things to take care of and I feel like I'm asking something pretty simple. I don't even care what the shoes look like. I just want them to be neutral and light in color.

And no, I didn't max out their budget by any means. I'm having the dresses made so they'll be about half the cost of a DB dress. They all could have afforded one, but I wanted to save them money because most are traveling and I feel bad.
