Just getting started and read the selfish groom thread - oh my goodness; is she serious?  How do you get to the point of shelling out $15k without having a conversation?!

LFF to the ladies around here for helping me so much already during my wedding planning and I'm only a month in! You ladies helped me by being in the back of my mind every time I looked at a venue and said 'I cannot have a cash bar, no matter what my family says about it being ok. Nope nope nope.' So I crossed off every venue that led to me not affording to host my guests properly, and voila, I finally found one where I could be on a budget and be a proper hostess too! So thank you ladies! You are awesome, no matter what people say about you being mean!
