Hi all!
Let me first say that I have been blessed to have an amazing family and equally amazing in-laws and bridal party. I think everyone is just great. But I have a dilemma.
My MOH already mentioned going bridal gown shopping. I know it's customary to invite her. I also know it's customary to invite the future MIL. Here's my issue: I want the dress shopping to be just me and my mom. My mother and I are really close and I want to share this time with her. My MOH is incredibly outgoing and I know her personality can sometimes cause my mom to be quieter than normal. My MIL is great but I'm just not close with her on that kind of level. She hasn't mentioned coming to the dress shopping so I don't think that will be a problem - but how do I politely ask my MOH to step down on this particular duty so that I can have this experience just with my mom?
