NYC Jewish Officiant-Saturday

I am getting married next September on a Saturday afternoon, and would like to have a Jewish ceremony. Most rabbis won't marry couples before sun down, and I am having trouble finding anyone (cantor, student rabbi etc.) who will. Is anyone in a similar situation and have any recommendations? Thank you!

    It would be against Jewish rules to perform any kind of business or ceremony on Sarurday before the shabbat is over.

    Correct. Jews don't have weddings during Shabbat.

    Just curious: did you or your fiance not realize this when picking a date and time? Are you both Jewish? I'd love some background info.

    How about having a civil ceremony, and have the rabbi come after sundown?
