Bueller? (Evening?)

So I see the time stamps are normal... I'm testing the waters here... Anyone around?

I had an exhausting day but YAY classes are over. :) I also got an amaaaazing deal on my first suit plus a few extra pairs of pants and a skirt from the Limited. They were doing this thing where you pick a chocolate out of a bag, and the wrapper was a coupon for a certain % off. I got one for 40%off so I was super pumped about my savings. :)

Anyone braving TK tonight?

Re: Bueller? (Evening?)

  • I have no idea the geography of the area down there, I just knew there were two different ones, hah. Which I find a little silly when they are that close.

  • Oh no posts are going out of order again. :(

[QUOTE]Things are blipping back and forth between good and out-of-order for me, it's like every other thread =/ Maybe they'll fix this soon? Hah. MuSu, what's your research paper on? I'm avoiding one too.

It is a paper about the First Amendment and how it interacts with funeral protesting, and what I propose should be done to constitutionally protect funerals.

  • Good to know.

  • Hiya!  Awesome deal on clothes.  That's fantastic.  And YAY for classes being done.
It looks like the most recent threads have random posts at the top, but it does look like there's a regular timestamp, so let's give it a whirl.
  • I'm not getting my hopes up yet. They were normal in the morning too.

  • They better stay normal. I am avoiding my research paper and this is the best option I have. ;)

  • Yeah I was soooo confused this morning as I wasn't around much this weekend when everything went wonky.

But I'm glad that things seem to be in order.
  • I've driven like 400 miles today, which while it is only sitting...it feels like I walked for a long time or something.

  • Evening everyone! I'm in the airport waiting for a flight. Work is sending me to Kansas City last minute. Anyone live there?
    image
  • I know Barbie lives near-ish to KC. Wait... which KC? lol.
    image
  • The Missouri side? I guess I didn't realize there was more than one! Congrats on the suit! That's always fun to get good deals on them.
    image
  • Oh ok, I think Barbie is near the KS one, actually!
    image
  • It took my bank three months to even send me a card. I'm not looking forward to when I change my name.
    image
  • Was gonna say, I thought KC was essentially the same city, but MO on one side of the river and KS on the other...

I didn't really have any issues changing my name.

  • Hi all.....I love me a great deal on a suit!  I wear them everyday.  I picked up one at Macy's on Saturday for 80% off......woot woot....even a petite so no need to have the tailor shorten it for my shortness....tee hee....

so glad TK is working again!

Ugh, Tiger, I would be a nervous wreck traveling so close to the wedding.  You are a good worker bee!
  • This trial is going to take forever. We did 1 hour on Thursday and 1.5 hours today. It's going to be the death of me.

  • oh C, there must be something positive we can draw out of it.....I know it must stink to be away from E and your job.  Good thoughts to you!
  • Just popping in real quick.

I got a job and start tomorrow at 8:30am.  I got a new Iphone 4S, a new LA number and DH is taking me to dinner for some sushi.

    Over all a good day.

What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.
  • Hey all. I'm here bawling my eyes out to Extreme Home Makeover. Big surprise. I cry every time I watch this show. It never fails. Tonight's episode (well, really last week and last night's episode) features a family who's son killed himself because he was bullied in the 6th grade. I just can't wrap my head around people being so cruel to other people.

  • Yay Lynda....so very cool!  That is a good day indeed!  Enjoy the moment!
  • Lynda that sounds like a pretty great day.

  • No! Why must TK tease us with things being normal? MK, I can't watch that show. I'll never stop crying if I do.

  • Edmund has been asleep for the last 3 hours in his crib. He never naps this long in his crib. He slept all night in his crib as well without having to be moved into our bed which is odd. I'm about ready to wake him so that he will sleep tonight.

  • MK, I am also on the can't watch that show train.....too sad!

On another sad note, we had a 14 year old girl in our school district commit suicide late last week due to cyber bullying....So unnecessary!  Such a waste!
  • Hi everyone!  Part of me wants to go crawl into bed underneath the nice warm covers, but the other part of me knows I probably won't sleep the whole night through if I do.
  • I tell myself I shouldn't watch the show, but then I come across an episode on hulu and get sucked in to a whole season.
