It's so dead I became more interested in cleaning the house than knotting.   DH will be surprised when he gets home.

I'm also playing Hard Rock Casino on his PSP.  DH did not changed the profile and he 'lost' my money this morning.  I'm trying to win it back.

I'm here.  Called in sick to work because I'm nursing a cold.  Dayquil tastes like shiit, but at least I can sorta breathe out of my nose.

FI said I can probably get a book reader, so I've been researching my options and it sounds like the kindle is the best option.  So now I'm deciding what books I want to load on to it.

Im a cheapy too. I have to go get some pants hemmed this week and im all moody about the fact that it will probably cost 20-30$ to do it. Regardless of the fact that each pair cost 20$ im still annoyed I have to pay more for stuff

Nebb, just for some hemming! You can ship those to me and I can do them for less Heck, get some fabric glue, turn the ends up, and voilia! Hemmed!

The Kindle does seem great, the only two things I don't like about it is it doesn't have a memory card slot and you have to buy the books off Amazon. I actually like the Nook better, because our library has an ebook lending thing (and I can pass on the website for you plus a library card number to hook you up) so I'd want to use that instead of paying for everything.

I have to get ALL of my pants hemmed whit. Normally I can get by with 30" inseam pants but I rarely ever find those in my size. I went shopping for dress slacks today and in the store I like to buy them from because they ALWAYS have my height in stock, they had TWO pairs in my size available. It was a sad day

Oh yes, I was thinking you meant each pair was going to cost $20. I have to get all mine hemmed, except pants from New York and Company, they're fab.

I really like the Nook too, but a bunch of titles that I want aren't in the B&N estore or on a few other sites I looked at, or if they were they were more $ than Amazon.  Amazon unfortunately has what I want.  I like the look of the Nook better, and the memory slot, and the epub support.  Really wish Amazon wouldn't be following the Apple/iTunes business model.
