I feel like we'd end up in a drunken brawl in the middle of the Strip at some point.  It would be very Real Housewives of Las Vegas.

I said Blue Moon but my real answer is "that would be so fun! these are the times I curse living literally at the end of the earth - if I were back home in SF, Vegas would be an easy weekend trip"

Good point. I think I may be further south than you (ETA: or not, I'm just not sure where you live, and I know most of Australia is north  of Santiago, although a couple of the bigger cities aren't), but you're definitely farther from Vegas. Middle of the south Pacific GTG?

1) Mandy's husband made me the most EXCELLENT Alberta steak this weekend.
2) I got to have my first Timbits. They really are fucking good.
3) I hate Las Vegas, but if enough people are heading out there, I can get there for super cheap, just name the weekend.

Oh my....  I went to Vegas with a friend last year.  All we did was: lay at pool, shop and play a few slots.  I could shop all day long, preferably with someone else's money.
