weather sucks. (aka, moose whining)

Why?  Because right now it seems the only "weather" we're capable of is rain.  How's your weather?

Really, I'm just cranky because my car is getting detailed today and then I have to take it out in the rain and I can't even put the top down.  Stupid rain.\

That and my yard is a disgusting mudhole that I can't fix because it won't dry up enough.  And now we have to get the concrete patio we just had poured ripped out because it sucks.  They screwed it up completely, then told H we just want free concrete.  No.  We don't.  By all means, when we're done ripping it out you can come by and pick up your stupid concrete.  Now we have to pay to rip it out, pay to dispose of it and pay to get it repoured by someone with a clue.  That is not free.

  • Ha.  Just to go further along that path.  You knwo what else sucks about the rain and my mudhole yard?  When the dogs (they're so cute!) come back inside, I have to hose them off.

It's 107 degrees here today.  (That's about 42 C for those of you in places where the temperature scale actually makes some sort of sense.)  On the plus side, that's about five degrees cooler than it was yesterday.

Sorry about the patio, Moose.  I had mine poured twice before I realized the issue was corrosive soil rather than a clueless contractor.  Still, I feel the pain.

This was clueless contractor - his forms weren't straight, they bowed out, the concrete is discolored, he didn't backfill out to the edge of the patio...  yeah.  It's not pretty.

    It was poured last week.

  • It's pretty dreary here today........and will be on and off for the rest of the week.  Of course the weather was nice long enough to float a million cottonwood thingys in the air so now it's dreary and I'm sick.  F*CKING FABULOUS.

OH - and I'll take your mudhole backyard Moose and one up you with a virus ridden work computer that they came to "fix" today, only for them to leave and it still have a virus.  Hi work, you will not be done today.  I'm currently on a coworkers computer but I have no idea how to open anything I need from here.  So I'm knotting.
  • It's raining today and I LOVE it. They've been predicting it for abotu 2 weeks now. I enjoy a rainy day every now and then :)

  • CUTE PIC LVB!
  • Yuck, Moose. The rain has held off all week for me, which allowed my contractor to finish up the siding and get the whole house painted. Now if I could just get all of the fucking carpet pad glue and residue off of my laundry room floor without asphyxiating myself with acetone fumes, I'll be a happy camper.

I do too when it happens every now and then :)  I've had my car for two weeks and have had the top down on it all of twice.  ::shakes fist::

  • It's hotter'n hell here. Everyday, we're supposed to get rain, but it must evaporate before it hits the ground.
  • I'd kill to be able to turn off my furnace at this point.  Gah.

  • There is that, Georgia. My daughter and I rode this morning (and I fell for the first time in over 3 years, stupid pony for refusing that jump!), and she got so hot that she was sick after the lesson. Yuck!
  • It's so bad right now that I sweat on the way to my car. In my garage. At 8:30am. It's four steps. I think we're going to get our dog a kiddie pool tonight because he stays outside while we're at work. B was off today, so I'm sure he was in the A/C all day.
