I saw Ragtime last night and I bawled my eyes out! It was amazing. I cried during the opening number because it was so powerful and also because these talented artists are still not going to have a job after today! Too bad you couldn't see it, but maybe the next time it comes back, you'll get to. I think it will win Best revival of a musical. I don't even know what it would be up against but it's that good!

I'm so jealous! I think I told you before that EVERY SINGLE one of my friends that has seen it has raved about it.

*sigh*

I love that show.

And my interesting tidbit - the orch books that they rent are copies from the national tour, so they have all the player's markings in them. Sometimes they're funny (remind Bob to play) but most of the time they're just useful and made playing the show a whole lot easier.

I've got to run and do some errands with DH, but thanks for making me jealous...I mean, letting me know! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
