We have a multi-ethnic wedding and chinese on the bride's side. We are planning to get a few chinese dishes but the venue requires a license caterer to do so. Even dropping off the food (not using the kitchen) requires a license
I called a few caterers who are not interested becuase it's only 3-4 dishes. I did get in touch with some restaurants who would willingly help out but do not have the caterer's insurance coverage. Supposedly there is a 1-day catering with covered liability insurance. Can someone tell me how much does it typically run in NYC?
