Really, boss?

My boss just sent a mass e-mail to everyone in the company promoting his political views and very important things he thinks we all need to remember before the next election.

Really? I don't get in to political conversations - especially at work - and I don't think I'm comfortable with my boss basically telling me how I should think/vote.

This is somewhat besides the point, but his political views are exactly opposite of mine. If I agreed with him I would probably have no problem with this.

Ok, I'm done whining now.

In other news, I just got in to a massive fight with TK about whether or not I was actually logged in before I could post this. Weird.

Yeah, that's incredibly unprofessional. Does your company have an HR department you could complain to?

sclams- Not really. Our HR "department" is one lady who likely agrees with him anyway. We're a pretty small company... 20ish people total. And the boss = the owner so I suppose he can do what he wants.

That's really unprofessional. When my great-aunt sends me that stuff, I let it slide, since she's 86. When my dad does it I roll my eyes. If my boss did it, I'd be pretty pissed.

FI's boss goes on tirades walking around the office every once in awhile yelling "Obama" this and "Obama" that. FI has a good impression of him. Luckily he's not as easily offended about that stuff as I am. When my boss started last year, it was obvious we had very different opinions. He states things very matter of factly and I disagreed about 90% of the time. Luckily, when I finally got the balls to tell him so, he stopped talking to me about it.

Political beliefs aside, it's amazing how many racists have come out of the woodwork in the past two years.
