I want to share my praise for
Angela Cappetta (her website is here). She shot our wedding in Turkey this past July. I live in Qatar, my husband lives in Saudi Arabia, and my family is in Nevada, so we had a lot of organizing challenges! Also, Turkish wedding aesthetic is quite a bit different from the U.S. (think plastic flowers, glitter, and lots of satin) and the wedding photography there, ahem, reflects this. My friend recommended Angela to me, and I fell in love with her fine-art documentary work even before I saw her wedding images. I booked her right away, and honestly, it was the best decision we made.
I'm actually pretty inexperienced with weddings, and Angela gave me tons of great advice and helped me work out logistics. She was so excited and warm and full of ideas; she even sent me wedding dress pictures! So cute. When she arrived in Turkey, everyone fell in love with her right away: she's passionate, generous, and wickedly funny. She's also competent and really knows how to manage people. I felt so happy and relaxed with her around. And the photos she took just knocked me flat!!! I'll let her gorgeous work
