1. I love my job. The teachers are so amazing and so far the kids have been great. Annoying, because they're 6th graders, but great.

2. I got paid Wednesday. You don't even want to know how much money I spent on ONLY ME.

3. Despite spending more money in one day than I've ever spent in my life, I paid off a small credit card and put a nice chunk in savings.

4. Andplusalso, my school just brought someone in to give all the teachers 20 minute massages.

Now you go.

Aw, I'm sosososo happy for you. I know how hard you've been working to get an opportunity like this.

I just got invited to lunch with a scientist who might have some awesome job leads for me. He's in town for the career fair next week. Now I need to figure out what the heck I'm going to wear--this is the first time I've started seriously looking at jobs.

Uh, I stayed home sick from work today to rest up for my BACHELORETTE WEEKEND. My BMs rented a cabin for the weekend. We're going to Oktoberfest. I'm excited.

Whit--I am SO happy you got a job.  I don't often post, but I know you were trying really hard for awhile to get one, and it's awesome that you did!  Also, I don't think words can even describe how jealous I am your school brought someone in for massages.  I'm a teacher, also, and we were seriously just talking today at lunch how awesome it would be if our school did that.

Well I've been having a pretty crappy week, as most of you know. But I've got some good news finally.. I bought a car! It's not much, but it runs excellent and we had it scanned, and it came back great. It also looks good too (paint and body wise)! It's the first car that I've ever bought and haven't had passed down to me, so I feel pretty damn good right now. It's a 1999 Volvo S70. Here's a stock photo of it..

And  I'm not kidding, it still looks like that photo. No rust, no cracks, no bumps. Still looks great.
