Okay, first of all...what is the GBCN board? My curiosity is killing me. The only thing I can think of in my brain is Goodbye Cruel Nest but that's probably way off.

How long would you have to go without sex to consider yourself in a dry spell? 1-2 weeks

What's the longest dry spell you've had (not while you were single, when you were married/had a SO)? Not counting the waiting we did, 3-4 days.

What was the reason? Deployment, pg/postpartum, something else? Period and general business/being tired.

The only other question I've seen is who normally initiates and I think it's been me more.

Me too! Though I aside from a glass I had at a friend's place this week, I haven't had wine in ages.

So you can just walk into the liquor store and have a glass of something on tap? Liquor stores can't actually serve (outside of tasting events) but bars can have off-sale in a separate area, if that makes sense. MN liquor laws are dumb.

1. After a couple of weeks, I would consider myself in a dry spell
2. Two months I think
3.  It was the two months leading up to the wedding.  On my part, it was due to wedding stresses/irritations and being tired.  H apparently decided at some point that he wanted to make the wedding night special by going without for awhile.  But he did not inform me of this until after the wedding.

In NC, bottled liquor is only sold at state run ABC stores.  bottled wine and beer can be sold at any store.  in counties that aren't dry, any place that also sells food can get a liquor license to serve.  If they don't sell food, they have to be a private club in order to get the liquor license. 

So this store got a liquor license in order to sell wine and beer by the glass as well.  They sell some chocolates and things like that, so i imagine that's how they got around the private club thing.
