Snow Poll!!

I love love love snow.  My avatar is a picture my FI took of us on a chair-lift in Heavenly. (If you look real close it a reflection of him through my goggles)  I think about snowboarding all year long.  We love to snowboard/ski so much that we plan to do it on our honeymoon.  Italian, Swiss and Austrian Alps for us!

I still get excited at the first BIG snow -- the kind that's big enough that you can't even try to get anywhere. And is big enough that I can take the day off - even though I work from home - because *everyone* elise is taking off....hot chocolate and a roaring fire...watching the newscasters go nuts.... walking outside every once in a while to see how deep it is now...

Of course, it's only fun for that first day before it all becomes an icy gray mess.  

But I'm not remotely ready for that!

If I could move some place that gets no snow right this second, I would do it. That is how sick of snow I am. Living in Michigan for 24 years has ruined snow for me.

I Want Cake

I live in MN where it's not unheard of to have snow on the ground for 6 months in a row.  I personally don't mind it, even like it, just as long as the roads and sidewalks are salted so I don't fall or have an accident.  I much prefer the extreme cold of our winters to the hot/humid of our summers getting chewed up by mosquitos.
