I would include them as well. If you are concerned about postage you can always do postcards the would require less postage. That is what we are doing.
I am getting married jan 5, 2011..Mailed out notices on Nov 22, 2010...No one has RSVP....I am having a nightmare thinking no one will show...how long do I wait for them to RSVP? Do I call them and remind them of my wedding? That sounds tacty to me.
No, it isn't tacky, but it probably isn't a good idea either. A lot of people have issues with people that forget to RSVP, and that's with a stamped card waiting to be returned. If they actually have to remember to go online, people are going to be less likely to remember to do it.

OP, we just did online RSVPs for our US reception (we live in Chile, mailing RSVPs back from the US would have taken forever), and it was fine. You'll have to follow up with some people, but you have to do that no matter what.
Ginnie, by notices do you mean invitations? When is your RSVP deadline? Please tell me somewhere on your "notice" it says to please RSVP by X date. You wait til that date passes and then call people to follow up if they haven't responded yet.
