I have a difficult matter to solve, hope you can give me some advice.
At first we didn't want to send save the dates (it's not a common thing over here) and just send our official invitation early enough for everyone to make plans (about 7 months before the wedding). But I have some friends abroad who asked me to tell them the date, and some of my husband's relatives live far away. So we decided to send a STD now via e-mail.
But there are some people who are rather on our B-list. Like, for example, those people we hang around with because they are close friends of close friends, but we'd rather not invite them to the wedding. Now chances might be that we don't live here anymore and the friends circles are less close, so no invitation would be less of an offense. But if we send STDs now, they would of course notice that everyone else got one while they didn't.
What would you do? Not send STDs? Send STD but no invitation? Send STD only to some people?
