My parents and I do not speak English well apparently.
My dad was under the impression that Save the Dates are the equivalent to wedding announcements and therefore did not understand what the big deal was with sending Save the dates to non invited members and random family.
And parents are insisting that the finances work for all the extras. Even with ceremony expenses since FI and I are responsible for that. And we're only going to send STDs to family within the first cousin range for FI and I and our wedding party.
All right then. They raise. I call. I don't want to argue this further.
