I can't believe I don't know this one. My friend is considering having a reception with light fair. Think roll up sandwiches, veggie platters, fruit platters, crackers, cheese, dips, chips, cakes, cookies, pastries,some kind of lighter type of alcohol like sangria or a spiked punch. Nothing hot, just finger foods that she can put out and let people serve themselves. She was thinking of doing it herself from Costco or similar places. So, what would the best time for this type of reception be? I know that it can't be around the dinner hour. What about 3:00?
Also, how would she word the reception? It's more than cake and punch, but not really a cocktail reception.
