We got married on the 12th - outdoor ceremony, and it rained. This ceremony was delayed an hour because of the rain and I didn't want to move it inside. Everyone was great about it. Our photographer was especially patient and helpful (she even helped put final touches on table centerpieces!). Because we were running an hour late, and after the rain it was miserably muggy and everything was wet, she suggested we come back after the honeymoon and re-do the pictures of myself and the groom - at no extra charge. We did these yesterday. She really went above and beyond all day long. I'm sending her a thank you card and want to include a gratuity for being so wonderful, but how much is appropriate? She also had an assistant with her on the day of the wedding and for the re-do pics, and I'd also like to send her a little something. How much should I include for each of them? We paid $850 for the photography package, which included the engagement session, photo editing, and CDs with all of the pictures taken.
