Help me pick out a clutch for the wedding!

I like the Coach one better, but, I'm a Coach person.  Not everyone loves Coach

The one from Banana Republic looks cheap - and this is just my opinion.  I wouldn't spend a hundred bucks on that.

I agree - the BR one looks cheap - like something you'd find at a garage sale for $5.

In all honesty, neither are my taste, but if I had to pick one, I would go with the Coach one.

I like the BR one better, but I really doubt you even need one.  You won't be carrying it around at the reception.  It'll probably just end up sitting at your table all night while you run around socializing and dancing.

Agreed. Don't waste that much cash on a clutch for the wedding, DocBroc! You won't use it =) If you MUST have a clutch, find one at Target for $20 or something.

Oh, yeah, it's actually more for just during picture time.  I need my kleenex, gum, and phone, hahahaha.  I will also need kleenex for dinner cause my nose runs when I eat, no joke.

EDIT:  And also - I haven't bought much for the wedding that I won't use in my regular life.  You guys saw my shoes in my siggy - those are going into my regular wardrobe after the wedding!  As would the clutch.

I wouldn't pay more than $20-30 for one either, only because it's so small (I could see paying $100 for a big hunker).

Having said that, since you asked us which was better, I prefer the BR one.

Have you checked out Etsy?  You could probably find a cooler, more unique looking clutch for at least half of what you'd pay for either of these.

I'm partial, though - because I used this seller and I LOVE the clutch I received.  Plus, if these aren't really exactly what you have in mind or you find another style in her shop that isn't your color, she'll work with you to custom make your own bag.  That's what she did with me.

I got a silver coach clutch for the wedding and now I use it as an evening bag. Mine is silver. I think it was a good idea. I had a lot of stuff to bring - tip envelopes, tide pen, safety pins, phone, kleenex, lip gloss, pressed powder.

Thanks for the seller suggestion, AATB.  Her stuff looks pretty good (less the fishnet stocking material over it that I'm not crazy about).  I've found my issue with Etsy and purses to be that stuff isn't plain enough (I like solid colored handbags).  Etsy does decorate my house, however!

EDIT:  The Dupioni one is pretty too, LDYGTR.  I can't tell if it's too dark or not.......

Sorry about the janked up links - I tried to fix it and it failed miserably. Anhoo - I'm a solids girl too - I didn't dig the netting on AATB's clutches for me either - they're cute, but NMS, thus why I gave you my personal faves lol.
