Hi everyone-
I know the trend is to always have the hair and makeup professionally done. While I will be able to swing a trusted hairdresser to go with me (he's a friend), I will not have that luxury with a makeup artist. I've already tested out the "go to the salon with your fingers crossed" strategy for other photos done near the location- it did not work out at all! I was unhappy with the results. And I will not have the opportunity to do trial runs at the location beforehand.
Has anyone here found success with makeup lessons with a pro, and doing their own makeup on the big day? Did you end up having to buy a lot of product that is specifically for the camera, and end up spending more on product/lessons than you would have on a MAU?
