I flame the Historic Stowe building owners for being freakin' jackasses, and screwing over hundreds of brides with their venue! OMFG I don't even know what I would do if that were me, finding out like a week or so before your wedding "Oh ya btw, our building isn't up to code, we have no permits, and the city doesn't even know this building is being used, so we've decided to close up after getting ousted by the local news over it". Then again, if it were me, I wouldn't have booked there to begin with, because the building has never ceased to be under construction. I wouldn't book a venue unless it was already DONE being built...
