My cousin was married last month and she received her photo proofs back this week. She likes the photos but photos of her and her parents are not included in the proofs. There are no posed photos of her and her mom or just her and both parents. She thought her photographer simply forgot to add them but the photographer states that she doesn't remember taking those combinations of photos even though these photos were requested.
The photographer was nice enough to offer her a back in the dress/family session but she thinks it'll be too expensive getting hair/makeup, tuxes etc to "recreate" the day. I don't see a problem in doing it but I totally see her point of view. Have you ever seen this done? Would you recommend doing it vs. just taking regular family photos.
I was there on the day of the wedding and I remember photographer posing my aunt and uncle and then including my cousin. Maybe she lost the photos and is not admitting it, I don't know? I don't know what to tell my cousin at this point so feel free to comment. I'm getting married in a few months and I know I would be disappointed if my photog didn't give me back such important photos.
