Donut Cake!

I really like the idea of having a donut cake as my fiance and i dont really like traditional cake! The thing is.. where do i find something like that? Do bakeries in NYC do them or am i going to have to buy a lot of donuts and put them on tiers myself??

I don't know for sure, but you should call some of the donut stores in the city and ask.  There is Doughnut Plant, Donut Pub and a few others.

I have also been thinking of having a donut cake as well!  I'm still in the  beginning stages of my planning, but I will let you know what I find out!  Please let me know what you find out if you call!  The Doughnut Plant is a great idea-- their donuts are amazing, if you haven't had them yet! 

My thought was really to special order a bunch of them and have them displayed/stacked/organized on a table....will let you know what I find out!

Usually you buy the donuts directly from the shop, and they'll deliver them the night of the event.  Your venue manager/caterer can arrange them.
