I COULD not believe it the first time FI and I visited my parents and they let us stay in the same room.  Even though I was 28 and divorced, I expected him to have to sleep on the sofa.

Ditto this.  Then fiance moved into the apartment with me.  We had one door and that was to the bathroom.  I yelled at him for typing too loudly one night.

Ditto, I was amazed that after 4.5 days with my mom over Christmas, I was still not completely annoyed by her. I think it's progress! We might even visit for a week next year.

FWIW, I haven't lived at home full time since I was 18 and I moved across the country at 21, so I'm totally not used to it.

Ciara, sorry it was sucky.  clothes shopping is always hit or miss.  When I ahve the cash to buy clothes, everthing is horrible and when I'm broke, it's all AWESOME.

H was not supposed to live here until we were married. He stayed over occasionally before we were engaged, and I think he only stayed at his parents one time after we got engaged. My mom was coming over early and I didn't want her to know. Mature I know.

My parents were mad that I didn't want to get an apartment with a friend before moving in with now H. I told them that this is what was going to happen and they had no say in it.

So, is this a legitimate reason to kill my husband?

He left early this morning to go on an all-day, 13 mile hike. His football team (Patriots) were playing at 5 our time. He made me promise to record the game and he would not find out the score or anything, and we'd watch it when he got home. He wanted to be off the trail by dark, home around 8.

He got off the trail at 7 and then took about 30 minutes to decide whether or not he wanted to stop for dinner (he's 2 hours away) or wait until he got home. Thereby delaying whether or not I could eat dinner and I'm freaking starving. Thankfully, he's going to stop, so I'm eating now.

THEN he texted me THE SCORE OF THE GAME. The game I didn't watch live because I was waiting for him to get home. AND he was the one who didn't want it to be spoiled for him. Then he found out the score! I'm going to delete it from the DVR, since there's no point to watch now. Damn, dude. I've been home all day with TV and internet and I've been able to stay away from it. He's in bumblefuuck with his cell phone and he zeroes in on it as soon as he gets reception.

Yea, I figured if we could make it through that, we could make it through anything.  We are much happier now in a three bedroom house.  Although when we first moved in, it was like "hey, where are you?" anytime he wasn't in the same room with me.

My dad got all huffy when H and I moved in together, but he never really said anything against it.

My MIL was so happy H was moving out that she practically shoved him over the state line.  He had been on his own for a few years, but had been living with her for about two years when he moved in with me.  I think she was ready for solitude.

I could never move back in with either family.  The thought gives me shivers, in a bad way.

I would be mad about the eating thing mery. I hate to eat alone and sometimes I get annoyed if H gorges himself at work potlucks and he is not hungry for dinner. Then I get all grumpy and make top ramen. I just like to eat.

When Oliver moved to CA to be with me (and we moved in together right away) his mom was upset, but mostly because he had been living in NZ for over a year and then had moved back for a few months and she wanted to spend time with him.

When we moved in together my mom didn't really have a leg to stand on, because she and her current husband moved in together before they were married (my brother and I no longer lived at home).

I plan meals, so if H says, "Oh, we had a lot of food at work, I'm not hungry," I get pissed. Thankfully I was only making paninis and they'll be fine to make tomorrow. And tomorrow is shopping day, so I can adjust next week's schedule.

I think you could find things that are a better cut for your body, Ciara.  Something with a more defined waist and a fuller skirt would be great on you.

The purple was my favorite but they didn't have my size. 90% of the dresses had no fullness to the skirt. The green one was the best that I could find but it just hit me at a funny spot.

I agree that the green one is the best.  I just wish it fit you tighter in the waist and had a fuller skirt...that would be hot.

That was the only one they had and it was a 14 of the green one. I needed a 12 but they didn't have one.

There were some cute black dresses. But I don't want another one. The last several special events we have gone to I have worn a black dress. I just really want something colored.

Its frustrating when shiit just doesn't fit right.  And it seems like when the first thing in a store doesn't fit right, NOTHING ELSE DOES

I tried the 3 main stores at the mall Nordstroms (grey and purple), Macy's (green) and JcPenney (red). I just checked and I can order both the green and the purple online.

I think if you took the green one to a tailor and got the waist taken in it would be great, but otherwise, i think you could do better.  

but that's just my drunken (but honest) opinion.

There must have been something wrong with the green one in the store because it was >$60 and the one online is $110.
