I just saw someone post about her FIs "groomsmaid" and thought to myself "people do that?" And then thought "well.. Of course they do!" But, wow, I never thought of it!
Is it uncommon or weird to male a male bridesmaid (which I would guess is called a bridesman?) I have two best friends, one male and one female. I was thinking of just inviting my male friend as a guest but now that this idea is in mind I kind of like it.. But the only problem is it might really, really throw off our male to female ratio of bridal party guests. My FI wants 3 and so far I can only really think of 2. Which is fine, I've hear that it can be done beautifully and I am sure it would work out. Now, however, it would be four guys and two girls.
I guess I'm asking if it's common or weird or somehow insulting??
And then I'm also asking for some ideas how to divy it up if I end up with four guys and two girls in the bridal party. (This question isn't really an etiquette one but it goes with my first one. Hope you all don't mind!)
