In September, FI and I are getting a cat! It will be my first pet that I can touch. EVER. I honestly can't even explain how excited I am!! We're planning on going to the shelter, because the one close to FI has a very high turn-over rate: They only give the pets 2 weeks to be adopted, and then they put them down if they're not

Hey there!

I am about ready to take a shower. My eyes are itchy and I just want to sleep. I already feel like I am ready for bed after sleeping this afternoonn/evening on the couch from 5-7pm. I have to work in the morning tomorrow and then do a bunch of errands, so it is probably going to be an early night for me. And H still feels like crap.

I told DH we were not allowed to go to any animal shelter just to "look". I would end up wanting to bring home all of the kitties and it just wouldn't be good.

Mixtape, when I got my kitty I had a really hard time only getting one. It took so much to convince my FI to get one cat though, so I knew he would never go for two at the same time. I hope he knows I will be a crazy cat lady one day though, as soon as we have more living space.
