Jaysus. What a peach these two are.  Or is it all one person? I don't think my local is that bad, mainly because it's so slow. I rarely go there, though, so I wouldn't really know.

Gaps are one thing, but not having enough seats for people at the ceremony is just downright cruel. I hope there's a sewage leak at her venue on her wedding day.

Nope, 2 different posters.

FYI, traffic here is so unpredictable that even on a Saturday you can't guarantee it won't take you an hour and a half, plus, to drive 20 miles.

I actually didn't book my ceremony and reception locations 8 miles from each other because there are a lot of oot guests and really, you just never know.

I'm also wondering who those 50 people who aren't her "nearest and dearest" are. Coworkers? FI's extended family? Why the hell would you invite them if you don't care whether or not they have a chair?

Dude, if I flew cross country for a wedding, then had to sit in an hour and half of traffic to drive 20 miles, I'd probably skip the damn reception altogether.

Um yeah, plus I don't get the logic. What if the unimportant people get there first, then I guess her slow-ass grandparents will be sitting on the floor. Slackers. Or is she going to have ushers only seat people who are on the near-and-dear list?

Once upon a time, I attended a dinner reception with my ex in Chicago.  We weren't invited to the actual ceremony, which took place in a small church and was only attended by immediate family.  (My ex was a cousin and therefore extended family.)  It seemed weird at the time, but -- in hindsight -- I suppose I should be grateful we had seats.  O.o

That's crazy talk. NEVER have I been to a wedding at a church and thought, "Gee, I hope there's a huge break between the ceremony and reception." What the hell are these girls thinking? It amazes me when people that think like that actually exist.

I've never been to a wedding with a gap. True story.

But then I've never been to a wedding with a Catholic mass. But I know a lot of girls on E were able to pull off a mass without having a freaking 3 hour gap.
