and a good time was had by all. I got my doctoral hood on Thursday, picked up my diploma at commencement on Friday, went out to dinner after (and met Duff from Ace of Cakes! he was filming a segment with the restaurants owner for a Food Network special), and continued to party all weekend. I just now said farewell to the in-laws. What a weekend.
So next up, we'll be moving to NY for the start of my new job. We're not entirely sure when the move will happen yet, but I'm excited. I do know, though, that I won't be able to knot at work. So I'm taking this opportunity to turn over the reins to someone else. Mica and Annie should be announcing who that is pretty soon, and I'm sure she'll be awesome. You'll still see me around on E (and A&A, until we get a new mod there), but I'm done moderating E today. Thanks for everything, ladies. I really can't even put it into words.
