Hey guys! I know I've been MIA for a long time, but things got pretty insane for me school-wise right before Thanksgiving, and I thought it would be best for me to take a bit of a hiatus and concentrate on getting things done. I had my last obligation of the semester today (my first Ph.D. qualifying exam - five hours long yeesh), so I thought I'd treat myself and say hi to all of you! I have really missed P&E!

And I'm really looking forward to the NY GTG tomorrow... definitely will be awesome

Haha, well I will join in and bitch about the fact that due to the snow, I will probably wear my waterproof boots instead of my cute little black boots, thus decreasing my hotness factor.

Haha! I'm sure we'll find a place with a variety of things. I plan to wear my Ugg-like boots because of the forecast, so I'm hoping my feet aren't killing me by the end of the night too!

I am such a wimp when it comes to the cold. I prefer it over heat/humidity, but I still have a low tolerance for it.


Edit - Sarah, I have no waterproof boots so wish me luck!

I imagine you'll be okay without them in NYC. All those tall buildings make it seem like it would be hard for snow to accumulate on the ground... but then I'm realizing that I don't think I've ever been in NYC during a major snowstorm. This may actually be pretty exciting

Just hope it holds off until I can get from Delaware to my parents' house...

Glad all is well- but I must say, your signature takes up my whole screen (well, actually more than that) as it seems to have become ridiculously big... I'm not sure if I'm theonly one seeing this, though.
