I like that idea, I'm sure your moms will go nuts! Although MIL may be a little disappointed that you didn't wait 6 years for her to retire ;)

  • 12/20.  Our little Christmas present :)
  • Ahhh that's awesome, Loopy! So happy for you and baby Froot Loop.
  • Aw, best Christmas present ever!
  • OMG! Loopy, I'm so freaking excited right now.

I'm also picturing you giggling like mad when you told us you might have a baby "soon" - yesterday was it?

[QUOTE]Thanks guys... you made my night.  We're so excited..  Lynda - did your H make it home yet?  Did I see something about having to cab from Newark to JFK - was that about him?

<div>DH is home.  Got in around 2am Tuesday morning.   It's my BIL that is coming in tonight and also had plane issues.  He gets here around 10:30.   </div><div>
</div><div>DH and I went to the free concert in the park.  Now we are watching Duck Dynasty (which is my new favorite show.)  until we go get BIL.</div>

  • Angel - she won't be happy anyways... H is flying home Sunday to handle the packing/moving of our household stuff.  SHe's going to be out of town until Monday night due to BIL graduating from college (he is almost 11 years younger than H).  So instead of packing Monday and leaving Tuesday morning, he's staying until Wednesday morning so MIL can have time with him while he's in town...
  • Yes, I giggled a little.
  • Mica - are you still here?  I still don't have access to the Mod forum.  I've emailed KJ twice with no response and no access.
  • OMG Loopy!!! Congratulations!

  • Ok random question. Does anyone else write like this? My brother walked in and saw how crooked my notebook was while I was writing and was like "How can you WRITE like that?":

This is facing exactly how I was sitting, so the notebook is completely sideways.

  • Are you a lefty, MuSu?  I know a lot of lefties that write like that.

I write a little crooked, but not that bad.

  • MuSu - I don't write COMPLETELY sideways, but I'm usually tilted at 45-60 degree angle.  Are you right handed or left handed?
  • Yeah, I'm a South Paw. But my brother is too, so that's why I was wondering if it was really weird, hah.

I used to write crooked, but far to the right since I'm right-handed.  No one understoon why.  I probably still do it, but I don't write enough for people to notice now.

Are you left-handed? If so, I get it. If not, holy crap.<div>
</div><div>I always have my paper completely skewed because the nuns always had us do that so our cursive would be slanted perfectly. Thanks to them, I can't write in a straight line to save my life when I write on something un-lined (like an envelope). My writing always goes uphill because I still put the paper at an angle.</div>
  • I've known people that write like that Musu. My notebook is crooked when I write, but not THAT bad.
  • Yeah, I have to put my notebook completely sideways to write neatly. I hate notebooks, they are discriminatory against lefties. ha.

  • I take almost all of my notes on my computer. When I do write on actual paper it's a little crooked but not nearly that much.
  • I'm a lefty, but I can't write sideways like that! Although I used to hate how my hand would bump up against the spiral part of the notebook in school. I always liked using the back of the page because I could write more easily.

That's funny, because my mom always talks about how she's the only lefty she knows that writes with her paper straight, and it's because of the way the nuns made them write.

I think my 2nd grade teacher taught me to write that way to get slanted handwriting too.  Huh.

Okay, I'm off.  Good night all!  And congratulations again, Loopy!
