Christmas Card/Save the Date

Most people are already aware of our wedding date. What is the ettiquette on including the "Save the Date" as part of a Christmas Card?

Re: Christmas Card/Save the Date

  • We made magnets to include with our Christmas card. We made photo Christmas cards with one of our engagement pics, then made a separate magnet as the STD. We had a Hollywood theme, so worded it like a movie premiere announcement. Like:

    Martini Productions Presents
    "The Best Day Ever"
    starring
    Me & Him
    August 14, 2010 at 2 P.M.
    Formal invitation to follow

Are you looking to do something separate like that or make your card THE save the date? Regardless, you should still state the date on it, even if most people "know when it is". Better to have it out there, in print, you know?

    <div>That's actually fabulously awesome! I support your idea 100%! (I may even borrow it too, I love it so much <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-wink.gif" border="0" alt="Wink" title="Wink" /> )</div>
