Aw, I liked Evabee.  When she first started posting I thought she was a bit scatterbrained and immature, but my opinion changed.  I thought it was cool how, when her fi was being deployed, she just put aside her wedding plans, squared her shoulders, and got it done.

Big signatures don't bother me unless they're HUGE.  Moose's is big, but it doesn't take half a screen.
If any new person comes in with a huge signature someone always comes in and freaks out...whether its P2 or someone else. What bothers me is no one said anything about Moose's when I've seen ones complained about that are smaller.

I never knew there was animosity towards Canadians until I started posting here. We fly the Canadian flag at our town hall, alongside the state flag and the U.S. flag, because Canada contributes to our economy in a huge way.

I don't think there is animosity towards Canadians in general.  On this board, some people have specific problems with Moose, Mandy, Alix, P2 and instead of just addressing them, they talk sh!it about Canada and Canadians in general.  It's just a cop-out way to attack certain posters here.

Shelly, I see what you're saying now.  Yeah it's true that regulars can often get away with things here just because they're well liked.  I think that's true on any board where people make friends and post a lot.

EXACTLY.

I got told that I'm being stupid telling people sig sizes are too big, so I've stopped (or tried to). That, combined with the fact that I haven't been posting much, I haven't necessarily noticed.

Oh, and Dani. I agree with you whole heartedly on the "let us help you" KPS threads. That was something I was planning on saying today.

I understand that people here are sympathetic and want to help, but maybe the person doesn't want to talk about it. Perhaps that's why they posted it as a secret.

I also know that I still can't start a PM to anyone, so if I were to post some shocking secret and everyone wanted to help me, I wouldn't be able to PM about it anyway. I doubt that I'm the only one that can't start a PM.

I can see the frustration about the "let me help you" KPS threads, but I'd much rather that there be an offer extended on the off-chance that somebody wants help. Even if the offer is extended to 50 different people and one replies and gets help, I think it's worth it.

I do see how they can contribute to the huge amount of KPS threads that are going on. Maybe we should start a new board :P

Dani, I lurve you but I have to flame you for flaming the people who post the KPS stuff.  All the regs who have posted on here looking for support and advice on their personal issues and you somehow think that making a post for someone who says their getting abused or whatever just to say "Hey, get some help" is stupid?  People's hearts are in the right place, and flaming them for attempting to be nice is kind of a jerk move.

I accept that you feel that way.  I just don't think that was the point of KPS, and once it got so wide spread, I don't even think that many KPS posts are from people that post here on E.  I do acknowledge that people's hearts are in the right places.

I get what you're saying. I think that having a SINGLE daily KPS thread would be great, but people refuse to look for the other threads that start with KPS before starting theirs, so it would get overlooked and thus numerous posts would continue to pop up. Even if it were a sticky thread, I doubt people would pay that much attention to it.

I enjoy talking about the KPS stuff with everyone, but when there are 62 threads, it's hard to not be redundant.

I flame miss.jawright for saying yesterday in the confessions thread that she couldn't seem to lose weight because she couldn't stop drinking. And then saying she thought she had a "problem." Yes. That is a problem. It's called alcoholism. Please don't make your health take a backseat to over drinking (and by health, I mean overall health, not just your weight).
