Program question

I am finalizing my program and printing soon.  However there is now a question on whether or not FI's Dad will be able to make it.  I was listing the parents in the program and now I am not sure if I should leave his dad in the program even if he cannot be there.  Thoughts?

He is still the father of the Groom regardless so you should put his name in there.

We are putting FI's dad in the program even though he probably isn't going to make it for health reasons. As the father of the groom, I feel he deserves some recognition even though he can't be there that day.

keep him in. FI's grandmother can't make it, but she's still in the program. & we're going to send her a copy after the wedding too.

Yes, leave him in. Not being there doesn't make him not the father.

Thanks all.  His Dad is also remarried so I assume I should also include her name as well.  Even though FI has never referred to her as a step mom.

I hadn't even considered this.  FI's father is not coming and I love his stepfather.  I had intended to list stepdad-in-law with FI's mom as "parents of the groom."  I guess it depends on the family situation.
