There is a commercial on TV right now for Universal Technical Institute. The announcer keeps calling it "UTI" and I keep thinking is "Urinary Tract Infection". Couldn't they have come up with a better name? Someone had to have thought of that when they named the school.

I say this every time I see a commercial for this place.  The first time it came on, I just said "That's unfortunate."

I do that every time I see the commercial, which is often. Saying "urinary tract infection" in a booming, announcery voice passes for humor in my house.

True story: once, SIL had a UTI and asked BIL to go get her some cranberry juice.  He did not understand why and was like, "how do you get it...you know...in there?"

And he is a HLS grad.

True, but I would never go to a school called "UTI". No matter how good a school it is, I wouldn't want to be associated with them.

The other day, I shiit you not, that commercial came on right after a commercial for the actual UTI medicine called AZO.  We were watching Maury (classy) in the lunch room at work and I just died laughing.
