Hi NY Knotties! I have called the marriage bureau a few times in NYC and I can't seem to get a call back or an answer. Maybe a few of you girls know...
It used to be the city of NY did not recognize online ordinations (is that the word?) but I read recently they did, but on their website it's a little confusing and I am not sure if maybe they just haven't updated it or I misread the article a while back.
Have any of you guys used an online ord. or had a friend marry you in the NYC? Besides registering with the county clerk, what else did you have to do, if it's even legal?
