In need of opinions... My Bridal Shower invitations were sent out a few days ago. It's going to be small and intimate. On my Fiances's side of the family, I invited his Mom and sisters and two of the sister kids (they have daughters) I month ago, there was a Bridal Shower given for my Fiance's niece. I invited the same kids that were in attendance at the neice's shower. The one sister has two daughters but only her oldest was there... so I invited only her and not the younger one. I just thought since she was only 12 years old, she wasn't into going to these things... when they received the invitation, the 12 year old was offended she wasn't invited. I'm sure my future sister in law was also a little offended. My future Mother-In-Law left a message on my fiance's phone telling him this, she was thinking that it was just a mistake and I overlooked it.
I would love for the younger one to come too... I don't want anyone to have hard feelings. My fiance is going to call his sister today to let her know that it wasn't done intentionally, and to have her come as well.
Should we have another invitation sent out to include the younger daughter's name too? Or should I email/call my fiance's sister to explain?
Thanks!!
