Re: invitation wording

  • _____ and ________ together with their parents request the honor of your presence, or however you want to say "invite you to their wedding."

  • "together with their families" almost always works.

  • I would personally give the honor to my parents alone, but that would just be my choice.  Otherwise I think the previous poster has it right.
  • Go to the main Knot and click on Wedding Invitations.  There's a wording wizard there that will help you.

  • The invitation notes who is HOSTING the wedding.  Hosting doesn't necessarily equate to paying.  Are your FI's parents involved?  Helping in any way?  If so, honor them equally.
