My best man ( FIs older brother) has a wedding for his best college friend the day before my wedding. If hs goes, he will miss the rehearsal and dinner. I don't know if this ia a big deal or not. He hasn't ever been in a wedding and I really don't know what his duties will be. I don't want to be selfish and make him miss his friends day just bc of my rehearsal. What do you think?

That makes perfect sense to me!
Only 2 people in our WP made our rehearsal and everything went just fine. All he has to do is walk and stand. You can show him where his spot will be before the wedding starts.
