FSIL is planning her kid's first birthday party. She sent me a text asking for our address (even though she received our STD last week with a pretty little address label on it...) and told us the party would be on a Friday at five.
Granted, this isn't for a few weeks, but who plans a party while people are still working? I told her FI would still be at work, and I would still be in class. . FI usually doesn't get off work until 6 or 7, and the party is over an hour away.
She pretty much told us we need to be there, and we should take off work/skip class to make it happen.
Here's my question: can I smack her?
