The whole thing but if I had to pick just one I would pick my dress design (the actual dress is still under construction).

Our colors are navy blue, purple, and silver.  FI tried for blue and gold for the Navy as well as anchors on them.  Vetoed because he had those at his first wedding.  LOL

This reminds me of our Sun Conure Chirra.  She imitates the sound of Duke's squeek toys.  She waits till he is on one end of the house- then squeeks -  he comes running through the livingroom to the other end of the house - when he is outta site she squeeks again- and again here comes Duke this will go for about 5 laps through the house till he stops in the living room.  At which point she makes a duck like sound, and Duke goes batsh*t crazy.  Duke is a retired duck hunter. Always good fun!

I'm from Northern California and currently living in Southern California at least for the next few years. I have no idea where I'll end up eventually. I'm a graduate student and I teach my own classes or are a TA, am a reader (grader), and a research assistant. No pets. I love to travel in Europe and Turkey, though mostly it's a combination of research and vacation. I don't have an SO at the moment.

Where are you from?   Born and raised in Tulsa, OK.

What do you do for a living?   Pharmacy Tech in a really busy 24 hour chain pharmacy.  I like the job itself fine, and my coworkers, but can't stand the company I work for, or the crazy hours.  Would love to get out and do something else, but I've been here 11 years and can't find anywhere willing to meet my current pay and benefits schedule, plus I'm up to 3 weeks of vacation a year.

Any pets?  One cat, Gracie, a basic gray tabby.  Otherwise known as Fat Chick, Snugglebug, Monster, BooBear, and GracieNO!  She also is presenting us a bit of a problem for the future, as my future stepson is violently allergic to cats (severe asthma attacks) and can't live with her. FI has sole legal and physical custody and probably will until he's of age.  Still working on that.

What's your favorite vacation spot?  coast of Maine, Hilton Head Island, the Rocky Mountains in summer. 

How did you meet your significant other? What do you like most about him/her?   We went to the same university for undergrad (he ended up graduating elsewhere), but didn't run in the same circles, although we knew of the other (very small school).  After school we worked for the same company for about 6 months, until he left to take another job.  A couple years ago he was on our mutual university's Facebook alumni page looking for his old roommates, and ran across me.  Facebooked me and asked if he could take me out to dinner to catch up, and we've been together ever since (except for a period last year when we broke up for a time).  During that dinner he confessed that he'd had the hugest crush on me when we worked together, but after he left he was too chicken to come back and talk to me and ask me out, then when he finally had the guts I had left and he didn't know where I was.  I love that he makes me feel like the most beautiful, sexy woman in the world (I struggle with self-image), love that he wants to be my versioin of Prince Charming, love that he worries over me, and love how great a daddy he is to his boys.

What's your favorite part of your wedding/future wedding?  We aren't to the place where we can really plan yet, but we have a general idea of what we're going for and I really like that we're on the same page.  I also love that he's willing to mostly let me take it and run with it, and he will just show up, because it's important to him that I have something I'm happy with in the long run.  He'd be happy doing it at a drive-thru in Vegas, but is happy to let me have the wedding I've dreamed of, just because he wants me to have that experience and memory.

Where are you from? Born and raised in Queens, as was my husband.

What do you do for a living? I'm a special ed assistant preschool teacher. I currently have a 1:1 with cerebral palsy; last year I worked with a little girl with Down's syndrome. 

Any pets? We have two cats named Henry and Sammy, a rebbit named Polyester, and a snake named Fang. (I love animals and worked at an animal shelter before I started working in special ed.)

What's your favorite vacation spot? I don't really go on vacation. I guess if I had to pick a place though, it'd be something outside. No beaches though, my husband and I are not really "beach" people, more river and lake people.

How did you meet your significant other? What do you like most about him/her? We met at Boy Scout camp. We were both counselors; he taught Archery and I ran Handicrafts. I love his thoughtfulness and his caring nature. he is so wonderful with our "boys" (yes, the cats) and so good with me and my heart. We were long distance for a time and he always new how to make me feel loved and wanted even from a distance. He's always just "gotten" me.

What's your favorite part of your wedding/future wedding? I loved my dress and our venue. i loved our flowers and our song. I loved my husband's ring and the church we got married in. I loved our homemade wedding cake and our invitations. There's almost no part of it that I would change, given the choice. It was lovely.

I met him through a retreat that the Catholic Student Center at my alma mater did.  We were staff heads together, and started dating shortly after that retreat.  What I like most about him is that he knows how to calm me down when I'm getting extra crazy.

The reception was a lot of fun.  We didn't have a high RSVP return, but the people who were there made it awesome.

*Yep! We have six kitties. Four indoor and then two outdoor strays that have adopted us. Oldest--Bruce Wayne--is 14 and youngest, Miss Yuki is 5 months.

*San Antonio. Love, love the Riverwalk. 

How did you meet your significant other? What do you like most about him/her?

*Match. I love most that he's a good-hearted man who has been there for me through thick and thin. And he loves animals as much as I do. 

What's your favorite part of your wedding/future wedding?

*That I will finally get to walk down the aisle with my dad and also get to hang out and eat fantastic barbeque with our family and friends.

What's your favorite vacation spot? I really enjoy the National Parks, though I could enjoy myself pretty much anywhere. 

How did you meet your significant other? Freshman year at college. We lived in the same dorm and were in marching band together.

What do you like most about him/her? He truely is my best friend. We've been together for almost 13 years now and I can't imagine not having him in my life.

I'm from the Chicago suburbs but now we are in Dallas, Texas (so excited to see two ILLINI here!  I did my undergrad there)

What do you do for a living?

I'm a law clerk.  Just graduated law school and am anxiously awaiting bar results 

Any pets?

We have a little mutt named Crosby who is either a Maltipoo or a Schoodle (FI brought him into our union...something about a grown man with a fluffy little dog is so cute/dorky)

What's your favorite vacation spot?

Anywhere.  I loved the Greek Islands or Istanbul as far as European, but closer to home, I love to go visit my home city

We met online.  Some "mosts"....I love that he is like a father to my son, who was 1.5 when we started dating.  I love his passion for politics and other things that are important to him.  I love his butt.

Where are you from?  What do you do for a living?

I am originally from Washington DC.  My family works for the government, so I've lived there long enough to get the benefits from living in our nation's capital, and near one of the largest internaitonal airports in the world.  Then we were relocated to Boise ID (I know right?).  At first it was really jarring, but I've come to love the wide open spaces, the low cost of living, and the access to all sorts of fun outdoor activities.

My fiance is just starting out as a lawyer (read: 'Lawfirm B$%tch') and I am a Commercial Loans officer.

What's your favorite vacation spot?  In the USA: Wine country CA (don't make me pick just one, waaaah!).  Internationally:  Hands down, Italy. They are the most fun-loving, accepting, food-loving people in the world.  And all the art and history you can shake a stick at.

Do you have Pets? Yes, we have 3 cats, and 5 backyard chickens.  My fiance's friends like to refer to him as a 'Gentleman Farmer' :P.  Chickens are hilariously good pets, and have an amazing amount of personality.  Plus they give you breakfast.  Seriously, bonus points.

 

How did you meet your significant other? What do you like most about him/her?  We met on PlentyofFish.com  because we are both nerds.  And that leads to what I like the most about him .  We both are unashamed of our uncoolness, and I love that he comes on madcap adventures with me (I love trying new things).  He's also the kindest soul you've ever met.

 What's your favorite part of your wedding/future wedding? We are having a wine ceremony!  Wine is very important to our family, as my father is a wine columnist, and both he and I belong to the guild of sommeliers.  Also, the food and wine at our wedding will be really good (we found an amazing caterer), I can't wait to see all my guests happy and having a wonderful time.  Oh!  And the venue is outdoors in a series of gardens at an old victorian house.  The best part is that the ceremony garden has a natural aisle made out of flowering pear trees!  It's so gorgeous!.
