Who's Around?

It seems a bit slow tonight, and I am very bored, and too lazy to get off the couch because I pulled something in my back.

Who is around to entertain me? And what are you doing tonight?

Im busy being boring, watching the news and then probably watching a ghost show with my husband. Exciting life!!
  • Nebb- I would like to let you know that because of you, I dreamt of zombies trying to invade MS.

  • I'm here, packing for my weekend in Yuma and waiting for T to get home. I desperately want a coke.

haha im sorry, I was actually worried lastnight that because of my poll I would have zombie dreams. I HATE zombie dreams!!
  • I'm also boring.  Trying to decide if I want to put forth the massive amounts of effort to start making bench covers.  I purchased 50 yards of unbleached muslin to make my aisle runner with, and am only using about 19-20 yards for that reason.  I can make all but maybe two of the bench covers with the rest.

  • I'm going to go to bed soon. I promised myself I'd get into bed by 11 tonight and well.... already failed. But I'm reading Assassination Vacation by Sarah Vowell as my pre-sleep book, and I'm looking forward to reading a few more pages tonight. I'm on the McKinley assassination now.

Wouldn't it be nice to live together in the kind of world where we belong?
  • i'm tired and going to bed soon.  Had another baby class tonight and it just made for a long day.

We are taking another baby class on Saturday from 9-1, so I don't get to sleep in.  :(  But yay for baby classes and seeing the L&D unit!

  • I need a new book or series to read, but I don't know what to start on or even what genre I want to go with.

Nebb- I guess the zombies picked me instead. They probably knew you would kick their butts even in sleep.

  • Yesss, T just called on his way home to ask if I wanted anything (he always calls :)) I get coke now.

Nebb- I was super worried I'd have zombie dreams too. I think I did have one but if so it wasn't too, too scary.
  • Roxy- what did you decide to do about Yuma? Are you going solo?
    Photobucket
  • Yep, and we should find out about our dream house short sale of never ending doom tomorrow!

Hahaha HARDLY. Whenever I dream about zombies (once every other week or so? thats bad) I hide places or am trying to baracade myself inside of places. I once hid from zombies on a bus with Gary Sinise.

3 made me laugh the most, but those are all pretty funny and do make me feel better.

katie- let us know how that turns out. It just sounds stressful.

  • That one makes me laugh the most too because really, who dislocates their shoulder doing that (besides weird ppl who are into weird stuff).

I am one of the clumsiest people I've ever met. I now sleep with that arm tucked under my body out of fear it will decide to leave my body.

  • Howdy all.

I'm here for a bit, but I should go to bed.  I have two fitness tests I signed up for tomorrow so I should get some sleep.

But I'm too excited because we've gotten a lot of surprisingly great feedback about people coming to the wedding.  One of FI's cousins got her STD today and already got childcare arranged for a week and is just waiting for the go ahead from us about the room blocks to book.  She and her DH are ones that we didn't think would make it.  A good reason why you always, always plan for 100%.
  • Mocha- I think if I could pick another Knottie's wedding to have, it would be yours. Your shoes don't hurt your case either, although, not to be an AW but, my BMs bought me the blue manolo's for under my dress, and it made me think of your shoes and how much I love them.

Where in Hawaii are you getting married?

  • I'm here.  Catching up on As (P&)E Turns.  ;)

I just finished Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl.  It's young adult fiction about a witch and a regular kid in the south.  Super good.  Probably the first in a new series, but not a series yet.
  • I just read The Hunger Games. So far there are only two books in the series (there will be 3 total), but I LOVED the first. I have the second right now but haven't started it yet because I'm (re) reading the last book from my favorite series ever (for literally the 5th time), Harry Potter.

  • Aww, thanks Mags!  *blushes*  I'd love to do the blue shoes too; Sascha wore them, but you probably already knew that.  I tried them on in her store last year, too bad I didn't win big at the casino!

We're getting married on Oahu, staying in Waikiki and the wedding will be about 30 minutes north west-ish of Waikiki.  Lots of Hawaii knotties have had their weddings at the same place, and the pics are gorgeous.  Can it be September yet?!
  • I actually didn't know that Sascha wore them, but I wouldn't expect anything less from her.

I would have loved a DW, but my dad can't travel long distances, so New Orleans it is. Hawaii is gorgeous, and just so peaceful. We spent two days in Wakiki when I was there a few years back and it was very pretty.
