Locations for Bridal Shower in Brooklyn?

Hi,

I'm looking for a place for a bridal shower for around 50 people at no more than $25 per person.  It would be nice to have the bridal shower in Park Slope or the surrounding area.  Any ideas are appreciated.  Thanks!

$25 per head is a bit tough for a full meal with appetizer, main course, drinks and dessert. would this be lunch? you might have some luck doing brunch too. are you open to different kinds of cuisines? we are having our rehearsal dinner at Korzo, which is a central european restaurant on 5th ave and around 20th street. the food is good--pierogis, wiener schnitzel, but also more creative, modern dishes--and they quoted us $16 pp for buffet dinner. drinks and dessert would be additional.

for brunch you might try Alchemy gastropub on 5th avenue and St Marks Place (in brooklyn). they have a nice garden out back that might hold 50 people. not sure what the pricing would be like.

if you don't mind mexican, give Tacos Nuevo Mexico a call. they aren't usually busy for lunch, and they have some of the best mexican in the city. and their prices are good so they might be able to give you a good deal for multiple courses.

We used John Arden Muisc for our shower- he sent a liver musician for sing alongs and great music.  They are listed under Long Island vendors under rehearsal dinners/showers sectionj

I'm not sure on their pricing, but you may want to check out Jolie restaurant.

It is a gorgeous restaurant, with outdoor space in the back.  It is located in the Cobble Hill area.

Thanks for the suggestion about Jolie Restaurant!  The funny thing is that at this point it is one of the final choices.  Either there or Vanderbilt at South Beach....
