I know I've been whining a lot lately about my job. Well, after several long talks with H I've decided to start looking for something new.

A few days ago, I applied online for a Senior Corporate Recruiter position with the local office of a large (Fortune 500) company. They called me yesterday afternoon and I had a quick phone interview... and this evening I'm going to meet with the HR Director after work.

So yeah, wish me luck! I probably need all the help I can get. Hehe.

Would this company be International?  Meaning, could you look into transfer to lots of fun places in the future?

They are! Right now they're the #3 company in their industry sector. They run operations in the US, Mexico, Canada and Carribean. But they're working on expansions in to Europe, Asia, Australia, S America. I've been doing some research and found today that one of their biggest competitors actually distributes their brands in the parts of the world where they don't have a presence. So I'm sure they don't want that to last any longer than it has to!

Aww thanks, Missy & Rach! You know, it's funny - I interview people for a living. But I still find myself crazyoverpreparing when I'm going to be interviewed.
