LC, I think I'd rather just not drink sweet tea if it was made with Splenda. It tastes... off. I've gotten used to the taste of unsweet, so I just do that instead.

It did taste off at first, but I got used to it. What really weirds me out is the granulated splenda. It has the texture of pureed styrofoam and it does this really weird little pouffy type of fake sugar explosion when I put it in the hot tea.

I do use Splenda in my coffee (which I also think tastes off, but I drink it anyway; I can handle off coffee, but not off tea), and I agree that the granulated Splenda is weird. Since I only use it first thing in the morning, I'm usually not 100% awake anyway, or I'd wonder if they use chalk as a filler or something.

Aw that's so funny! I've been wondering lately what my kids are going to think of my tattoos. Most likely, it'll be at least semi normal for parents to be inked up by the time I have kids, I'd imagine.

I'm not sure why she never pointed it out before, but she was literally scolding me.  She said, "that's a bad girl mommy, you don't color with markers on your body" - "don't do it again or you'll be in trouble" - "ok sweetie?".  Which is probably a conversation I've had with her word for word about markers and her coloring on herself.
