Ice Cream Truck in NYC?

I am looking to rent a Mr. Softee Ice Cream truck to park outside my venue for an hour and serve my 175-200 guests. Has anyone done this before? How did it turn out? How much can I expect to pay? I got a quote today for $650 for an hour but I can't even remotely imagine an Ice Cream Truck driver selling that much ice cream in an hour so I feel like we should get a MUCH better price due to the business we are providing. Thoughts?

    Sounds right to me. If you figure a cone or a shake range from 35 each that is about right.

    My cousin is getting Cool Haus to serve dessert at his wedding (ice cream sandwiches).  He was quoted $1550 for 2 hours for 175 guests.
